She has improved more than we could imagine

Our experience with A Place to Call Home was very challenging for us as my daughter did not want to go there at all. She has some mental issues, but over the past three months she has improved more than we could imagine. She is also dealing with brain cancer which requires transportation challenges 5 days a week, not only with transportation, but being there to support and monitor her. As she has a history of running away, but over time she has accepted to stay, she has her days but with great care and understanding she is doing great. I believe all the caregivers genuinely care for their clients.

Truly a Blessing

Over two years ago it was necessary to move my father from a large Assisted Living Home to a smaller residential environment where he could get more one on one attention and care. The atmosphere is warm and friendly

I'm so proud to be part of the APTCH family!

This month I’ll be three years of service, and since this was my first time working in an AFH, I’ve grown so much as a caregiver. I’d like to share my story when I started at the 117th residence. Most of staff knew I was not fond of the culinary field, which was not my strength. But now, being recognized as a good cook, having my clients ask what’s for dinner, and watching them enjoy their meals, gives me a great satisfaction. Wonderful work environment, supportive staff, with flexibility in scheduling. Owners are truly caring professionals with extensive knowledge about running a successful AFH. Residents are well cared for and treated as family. Meals are made on site and very nutritious including a variety of fresh fruits and vegetables.
